jbl 1200.1 and type r

i'd say that a jbl1200.1 will run 2 type R's nicely just be very careful with your gains and keep them down you don't wanna blow em it could happen if you become a volume master.

In writing the Infinity Perfects can handle more than the Type R's, but that is of course, in writing. Who knows. If you use that setup, keep your gains at about 2/5, and DON'T USE THE BASS BOOST. My perfects are dead now. Far from perfect. Be careful.

they can definately handle that power, i have the same setup and it it hits so hard and sounds very nice while doing it. Also, my boy has 2 10" type r's getting 800 watts a peice and it slams.

hey, are u talking about the 1200.1 or the 600.1???

you said your giving your subs 800rms a piece how is that with a single 1200.1?? i know they are under but only like 50-150ish watts not 400 i wouldn't think anyway. anyway taylor runs 1100 watts to his type R 15" so yeah they can handle the 600 a piece. oh and to eardrummin, infinity overrates the perfects in my opinion, i've heard of people blowing them with like 500watts to them like a dozen times now so i think more than 350-400 your taking a risk with those subs.
