Jasper Jig Question

i normally go about 3/8" deep every cut....so i usually make 3 passes, except for on the last cut i will normally go a little deeper so that the bit sticks all the way through......i really don't wont to burn up a 20$ bit....so i'd rather be safe than sorry

Hrmm, this is why i was wondering. It takes a long time to do 5-6 passes
Strange.

I do it in one pass and it doesn't take that long, 45 seconds or so depending on the cutout diameter. Even with a shitty router.

I just drill the hole for the peg, do the recess for the driver in the first pass (if it's to be flush mounted), adjust the peg for the cutout size and just go to town.

You need some more horsepowerz?
