Has anyone heard this unit, or know anyone that has? Im wanting to move from the 880 prs to this, but need some thoughts on this unit. Isnt Isnt carrozzeria superior to premier?

Yes, but the 880prs has more bands of eq than most cdplayers out there, but that doenst mean it sounds better. Denon, nakamichi, ect. Not to mention its much more than the 880 prs. Also if you take a look p070 model, its only 450, but yet it has 13bands of eq.

Carrozzeria is what they call Premier in Japan. They just offer some stuff in Japan that they don't offer here because, you know, Americans are big, stupid buffalo that like ugly, shiny things.

Doesnt look bad...but for $600...i rather get a different head unit...maybe the eclipse or KCD-990.

To me that HU doesnt even worth 600...the screen look old school. Look like a $300 HU in my opinion.

How do you look at the face of a cd player and determine how much it is worth:eyebrow: Have you ever looked at a nakamichi, soundmonitor, or a mcintosh deck? You see how old and plain those decks faces look. My point exactly.

Anyone have any actual valid statements ?

The only downside I saw to all those Japanese decks were the rarity of RCA Preouts. Only a few had them and if they did it was a sub-out or non-fading rear out. So if we were to pick them up, does that mean you'd need to split it 3-ways?

Im going to send an email to find out just how many preouts that deck has, im thinking it has 2.

no but from what ive heard is that the japanese units are better than what we get
