I've got the above mentioned head unit, and I'd like to be able to play my iPod through it. I don't care about being able to control the iPod using the head unit, just playing it (unless it's particularly cheap/easy to have full control).
That head unit doesn't have an auxiliary input, but it does have a cd-changer input using RCA jacks. I tried simply connecting my iPod to those RCA jacks, but the head unit doesn't allow me to select the cd-changer as a source. The manual says it will let you select that if a cd-changer is attached and powered on.
Is there a way to get the head unit to recognize the signal from the iPod?
