Okay so ive tested my sub, and amp seperately and they both work for certain. However when i install them to my car it wont play!!! heres a picture of my wiring to make sure im doing everything right. THanks

Do you have enough power in your car to power your amp? Can you give us more info about your vehicle and power wiring?

make sure the remote wire didnt come loose from the HU

what kind of amp is that, how did you test your stuff? does the power light come on? Is the fuse in the amp good? you should use spades cust with the power and ground close like that and bare wire it looks scarey. If you jump a small peice of wire from the power to the rem wire does the amp come on?

Possible bad HU not sending signal? Check your ground. Does you amp turn on in your car? Plug an ipod with RCA cables into the amp and check if it works.

it's a 85 BMW 325. The amp is a used one i got from a friend. It's a pyramid, 500W. All the fuses are fine. When i inserted my ipod into the RCA it powered the sub, but when the rcas are connected to the HU it wont play...

Bad ground. Fuse up front is bad or not in. Fused distro may not have fuses.

does the output on the deck need turned on? btw i think from that pic you are running that amp bridged with more than one sub, unless you have it wired to 4ohms bridged its gonna go poof real quick

from the looks of it,maybe the power and ground wire touching ?resulting in blown fuses
