Over the summer, I have given up on audio because its just impractical in my civic. I've done several stereos for my friends over my down time...I have blown infinity references hanging under my neon Michelob sign to remind me of it...I'm about to sign the papers on a 92 blazer(in my sig) , all it needs is some thump. I'm saving to take a trip to Thailand, so I want to be on some kind of budget. Like, I want to go no more than $450 for the subs and amp, I have spools of wire in my room, and a sheet of MDF in the shed, so everything else is taken care of. What are some good sub/amp combos? I want to do a sealed box, so it takes up less room, prolly a downfire box to keep the subs from getting messed up. I've heard good things about lanzar OptiDrive amps and their vibe series amps. I've also heard good things about some power acoustik amps. Subs...meh, I'm not picky. I know the enclosure makes the sound for the most part..thanks for any help

The colorado customs wheel needs a horn button, and the front passenger arm rest is sitting in the back with the insignia 12s...the motor runs like a champ and sounds like a beast. Would a big box like that be good for rock? I play rap when I'm having a weeken cruise or something..but not often enough to have a sytem devoted only to that kind of bass
