Are you talking about that Rigid trim router at Home Depot? I've been eye-balling that to do the smaller stuff easily, like rounding corner or flush trimming port openings and such.1/2" round over ....I bought a Rigid mini router a few months ago and I love it....It's one of my favorite tools in my arsenal......
That's the one Ram.....you just have to make you a new base for it out of 1/4" mdf or plastic with a larger center hole because the round overs wont tuck into it for depth adustment.....its sold as a trim router and has a small trim bit with it.....I love mine....it stays loaded with a 1/2" round over bit....get one you wont be disappointed....Are you talking about that Rigid trim router at Home Depot? Yeah, I was looking at it for a good 5min at HD the other day...might have to try to snag one cheap online or something. I imagine it's a lot easier to use than a big plunge router, but you still need to use the big router for your mounting holes, correct? That's the one Ram.....you just have to make you a new base for it out of 1/4" mdf or plastic with a larger center hole because the round overs wont tuck into it for depth adustment.....its sold as a trim router and has a small trim bit with it.....I love mine....it stays loaded with a 1/2" round over bit....get one you wont be disappointed....
I guess you could use it to do cutouts as well.........I have a plunge router for cutouts....I love the little one for just doing round overs on the box edges and ports....That way I don't have to constantly change bits......Grab it and router.....It's a mean azz little router......well worth the $100 I paid for it......Yeah, I was looking at it for a good 5min at HD the other day...might have to try to snag one cheap online or something.
