It's been a sad week...

I've had a pretty horrible set of weeks myself.. and usually when I see posts like this, I can top anyone's week w/how crappy mine has been.

I cannot on this one, however. Even though the things I'm going through are freaking huge and life changing... it's not has bad as having to deal w/the death of a close friend around your age, and life complications of another. I know I actualy had a testicular cancer scare and it turned out to be a cyst instead. Probably one of the scariest set of days in my entire life.

I too was diagnosed with testicular cancer back in March 05. It also had spread to about 5 of my lymph nodes. I had to undergo 3 rounds of chemo. So far that has done the trick. Depending on the severeity, your buddy might have to have the nodes removed. I'll pray that everything goes smoothly for him.

I could have possibly avoided chemo if I only would have went to the doctor sooner. I kept putting it off and I deeply regret that now. Guys, you gotta check your boys every now and then. If if one of them starts hurting get it checked out qucikly!!! That was my mistake.

I know how it feels to lose friends at a young age. I've had 2 friends die in the last year, and I'm only 17. One was in a car wreck and the other a 4-wheeler accident. Scary thing is you realize that could have been you, because I've done many of the same things that got them killed. Count your blessings and don't ***** about life, just live it up.

i can feel your pain man. i've lost both my parents(to cancer) and my grandfather(kidney failure) in the last 3 yrs.
