this was at a QT in kansas, dude said i cant use the card cause i could just call and cancel the transaction, i said "but i can write a hot check?"

i also went in to the gas station to cash in $10 in quarters, lady said she couldnt take them loose, so she gave me one of the quarter roll paper things, i went out to my truck, rolled the quarters and took them back in the store and she took them and busted them open on the counter to count them. i told her she was an idiot and she asked "why?"

You hold up the line forever, call your bank and get a ****ing debit card you fat ugly *****.

Im convinced people that use checks at grocery stores and such, really dont have the money and are just bouncing checks left and right.

yes sir it did, lots of things of this sort happend to me while i lived in kansas

i tried to order a pizza from the dominos around the corner and they wouldnt take my order cause i was on a cell phone. few nights later i stoped at the same dominos and the lobby was closed, so i called and asked if i could pick it up, she said no cause the lobby was closed, so i asked if i could have it deliverd to the parking lot and she said no cause she cant send a driver out side. i asked how would a driver get to his car to deliver it to my house? she didnt get it, i was sitting in front of the store watching her talk to me on the phone, i told her she was an idiot and went to the V.I.

i work at winn dixie and people with checks piss me off. they could atleast get the check started while im scanning but instead they wit until everything is done then start.

i am a manager so i am the one that always has to deal with the customers when something is wrong with their check, or if they have written too many in a day.

all these problems could be avoided if they got a ******* debit card

I have never wrote a check in my life. And I intend to keep it that way. When I used to work retail there would be a big *** line then the old lady pulls out her check book, o hell...

I don't think my parents use them at grocery stores (I believe that they pay in cash), but they do not use debit cards. My mother didn't even know what a debit card was. They're old school.
My father sits there once a month and does all of the bills, I told him to just sign up online and do online payments with his bank, he doesn't want to.

Guess it's a generational thing.

EDIT: And my parents are pretty well-off. They both do very well for themselves.

Mine are the same way. Cash when they shop or credit card. When it comes to bills they write checks. My paretns are sittin pretty to.

I do the same thing only i use debit in grocery stores. Checks for bills

I hate waiting for people using checks when I am behind them in line. I also hate waiting on them to fill out a check when I am at work and there is a line behind them. Anyways I think checks should not be taken anymore. Debit cards ftw.

The only check I ever write is for my monthly truck payment and that is it.
