I'm Looking for a 8channel dsp that's user friendly and gives me a good eq range. My budget is $275.00 but will flex a little for the right unit.
try it out if you just need basic 4 way active network crossovers with decent slope options with 31 band EQ and time alignment.alot of people tell me to stay away from that ppi dsp 88r. I have also been told that the harmony isn't all that great. I do know where i can get a harmony for 100 bucks used, think i should try it out or save up for a minidsp cd-6x8?
yeah i think i might try it out, with the ss harmony seeing how the guy is willing to let it go for $70 bucks now. Hell if i don't like it I could possibly just sell it for a little more than what I bought for lol. I'm going to run an all active front stage 4 6.5s pair of 8" mids and three sets of tweets. I also have a chance to grab a rockford fosgate 3sixty for $120 bucks but don't know if a 6 channel dsp like that one would be enough for what I got speaker wise.try it out if you just need basic 4 way active network crossovers with decent slope options with 31 band EQ and time alignment.
You'll always have people thinking paying 600 dollars for a processor is the way to go or else its trash, it just really boils down to what you really need and that ppi/soundstream processor are way more advanced SQ tuning options wise than almost any head unit out there minus the 99prs stage 4 pioneer.
You need the 8 channel. The last par of channels is always a subwoofer channelyeah i think i might try it out, with the ss harmony seeing how the guy is willing to let it go for $70 bucks now.
