yeah my girlfriend absolutely hates it...usually she asks if i can turn it off when she gets in the car...and if i turn it up she says she gets a headache, and how can anyone sit in the car like that and it hurts her ears...ugh....at least i dont have to honk the horn to get her to come outside she knows when im getting close to her house

My wife cares absolutely nothing about learning the specifics regarding the purchase and implementation of aftermarker mobile audio gear. It's just not something she gives two craps about.

The upside to that is that she does really enjoy a well put together setup so she's happy to trust my knowledge and abilities to that end and I've pretty much got free reign to spend what I like (within reason) on stereo gear.

My chick digs that I'm into it. She worked at Circuit city back in the day and has a decent little CC-discounted-products system, all MTX stuff. Sounds pretty solid, and she's always into what I'm doing if I'm putting in a system or changing something as she doesn't know about the internet brands and the finer points of the properties of sound (neither do I but I do more reading on it than she does ).

Makes for good stoned conversations actually.

true that. my money is no business of my girlfriends. i dont tell her what she can and cant do with her money. if we get married..different story. but as of now..she has no access to my $$$..so she has no say.

reasons i dont have a girl:

1)they buy worthless shit (aka: purses that cost more than the amount of money that will EVER be in them

2)they cost far too much

3)they take money away from MY hobbies that I can hardly afford as it is.

4)most around here are stuck up little snob *****es.

At least me and my girlfriend like the same movies. Then again, I have spent more in the HT setup than in my car. Talk about a hypocrite(sp). Hates the system in the car, but loves the HT setup. Makes sense, lol!
