My gf is not very demanding of my time and finances, but I feel compelled to spend time and money on her/with her. If I were single, I'd sit around at the house and spend a couple bucks on dinner. With a gf, I need to be a places at a certain time and then spend nearly $50 on dinner. While I get enjoyment and a meal out of it, too. Having a gf is an expense on time and money.

But it's better than being alone.
