Is this unit any good?

I just got jacked of my old unit //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif which was a decent pioneer unit that was 200 dollars back when I got it in 04' (I'm surprised it wasn't stolen earlier) now I'm in the market for a cheap head unit and I saw this one and need some expert advice on this.

I don't need anything special just something that i can listen to for work and long drives. Though the most important thing i want is mp3 cd playback and this has it. Also i don't know anything about pyramid and mainly just want to know if the build quality is crap or decent, basically something that wont have buttons breaking off or sticky buttons, you know decent, that will last a reasonable amount of time for normal use, but I am willing to spend up to 100 bucks, but i'd rather not if you guys think this or any other unit will fit my needs.

yeah its ok for a cheap cd player its kind of like haveing a factory car stereo

You can probably find something a lot better if you spend al ittle more money on ebay.

I got my deh-p4900ib there

fast shipping and unit looked new. It works great and i love it. Not a bad deal on some better units there.

You'd be better off with a stock unit than a Pyramid.

I would save your dollars some. I bought a cheap head unit a while back and after a month or so the cd player in it was so trashed it couldn't read brand new cds and eventually stopped ejecting the cd all together.

Panasonic and kenwood are two brands I can think of off the top of my head that sell some decent head units for cheap.
