Kenwood KDC-X592 Weird failure

Ok, this is what sometimes happens to my Kenwood KDC-X592:

when I detach the faceplate, and then I reattach it, sometimes the blue lights flash quickly. Then I press the Source button, and then any blue light stays on and a single dot or parts of the screen light up for 1 second or so, then the unit turns off and turns on back again and works completely normal.

What I do to avoid this is to wait until all lights are gone when I shut down the unit and then detach the faceplate.

Has this situation happened to any of you guys (who have this unit)?

If so, does this mean my unit is bad or what do you guys think is happening?

I havnt had any problems with my x592 so far, but I have only had it a few days.

The only thing that kida bugs me is that the radio doesnt get the best reception.

I have not had or heard of this issue. It may ver well be a bad unit/ faceplate.

I had the x590 and the face plate died. It would kinda dim, be ok, them dim. then ok again, then died.

Dont know if it was just with the X590, theres a lot of ppl who had issues with that model.
