I'd go for a ba 5000 if i were you. Those lanzar opti subs actually take a good bit of power, you'll be underpowering it with the 2600. However with the ba 5000, make sure you learn how to set your gains properly and read up on clipping and distortion.I think I will. What should I do with my old amp? toss it?

The amps are overrated, even the BA 7000.1 is clamped and good for 2k-2.5k despite the 3.5k watt claims, still great for the money though. Pretty sure its the same story with the 2600. Better to have overhead in this case. Accounting for amplifier efficiency after rise and voltage drops the ba 5000 would be a much better choice.Huh?It's an 1100w sub. That amp is rated for 1300 and does not appear to be over-rated considering the 3x40A fuses.
The 2600 is MORE than powerful enough for that sub.
