is this the best way to wire my amp?

im downgrading to a 4 channel amp, so i have 1/0 already in my car, and the amp only takes 8 guage. i already had the distro block and 4 guage in my house, so all i would need to buy is the 8guage and the fuses (which would be cheaper and look better than wire reducers). the main thing im concerned with is making sure the amp is able to get the power it needs.

The fuse at the battery should be no further than 18" I believe. Someone correct me if I am wrong

How is there 4ft between your batt and wherever you mounted that fuse holder in your engine bay?

But other than that, it looks good. If the amp will only take 8-gauge, odds are that's more than enough power going through the wire to power the amp. Not to mention your 1/0-4 set-up will transfer over enough power. For sure. No doubt. (etc.)
