Is this System enough?

ok i have a Jeep wrangler with an Alpine cde9846 head unit. 2 6" infinity kappa speakers for the roof rack and im looking at a 10" JL Audio Subwoofer in the back along with a kenwood amp is this enough to kick some mad bass? or should i go with 2 subs

it'll be pretty decent in a good install and correct box. which model jl are you speaking of.

Go with 2 10s and a different amp for them. Are you gonna amp the front speakers too?

I also have a Wrangler (2007) I have an Alpine x100 head unit, JL Audio HD 600/4 driving DynAudio speakers and a JL Audio HD 750/1 driving (2) JL 8W3v3 subs...

it rocks!

I had 2 10's in a wrangler... Plenty of bass for a cabin the size of a small cardboad box.

Might be enough for a month or so,but its never realy enough.

well i am on a tight budget. my last 3 vehicles were pickups and i had to 10" JL's and a kenwood subwoofer amp and that kicked it out! but again smaller cabin than the jeep, jeeps are difficult cause theres not alot of room in the back for a box. ones i found aren't cheap.

I listen to rock/metal never any rap so if that makes a difference. i was told it does but who knows.

well im gonna amp up the kappa's not the stock ones in the dash. i'll just leave them alone for the time being
