Is this sub wiring correct(picture)?

My friend keeps telling me that it's wired up wrong. I want my subs wired to 1ohm to my Orion 1200D. The amp automatically parallels the wiring, but I'm not totally sure.

Sorry, this is my second time asking about sub wiring.

EDIT: ok, 2 ppl backing this wiring up. i think it's all good.

now if somebody can explain to me what to set all my other settings on this orion amp to that'll be great. this includes:

Copy/Gain/Master Switch

low-pass crossover switch

low-pass frequency control

high-pass crossover switch

high-pass frequency control

INTELLi Q Control

Phase Control Siwtch

-Set your gains either by ear or with a DMM (preferred). Google "JL Gain setting tutorial."

-Your low pass filter should be on and set to around 60-80hz.

-Your high pass filter should be turned off.

-Phase control at 0 degrees, unless the subwoofers are inverted.

-I'm not sure what Intelli Q is. Hopefully someone with experience with Orion amps can help you out with that one.

It's a mono amp. I don't know why they need to confuse people by putting terminals on it as if it's a 2-channel amp. I guess it's just to provide more connections. Imagine both - and both + on the amp as the same terminal.

thanks, i'll leave the intelli q alone. this will help the settings more haha

yes....if each sub is d4, parallel the coils = 2ohm/sub. The amp itself is paralleled internally so by wiring each sub to it's own "channel" then you achieve 1ohm.
You just answered my question. It was a little hard for me to put my words together. See I have dual 4 ohm subs and I have them wired to 2 ohms each and I connected each sub positive and negative together and hooked them to one side of thet amp. I just wanted to make sure I had it connected right.
