Is this spam or a set up?

I have a set of wheels for sale on Craiglist and this guy has been emailing me asking about them and he messaged me this today but he hasnt called to discuss anything. He just seems to sketchy and I think its a set up.

it is scam, but tell him you need 40 in cash to get a cab to go to the bank twice to cash his check then go get the money and its a deal. It works 1 in ten times and a free 40 bucks

Nah. The bank will yell at you for trying to cash a fake check. And if it can be proven you knew the check was bad, you can go to jail. I made a similar thread, with pictures of the check i got a few months ago. Took it up to the bank... No good.

Believe me, i'm speaking from experience. Its just a scam. There is NO FREE LUNCH.

Unless they want to show up and put cash in your hand, it's a scam. Craigslist is for local deals only, so there should be none of this 'personal shipper" or "fedex courrier" business (btw, no normal american person would call fedex a courrier).
