Is this sound stream x3 a good 4" voice coil sub? are there any 4" vc 12s out there?

My buddy is trying to find 2 12s to run off of his b2 m1u. He wanted to go with DD 9500s. But I told him....your amp will destroy those subs unless you keep the gain down.

Anyone know of any 4" 12s? or are these soundstreams true 4" vc?

Tantric shd 12s would be his best bet with that amp

Rival audio makes some some nice 12" woofers with 4" coils.

I run an SHD 12 on an M1 for the music setup in the CRX. It f'n wangs.

Won't set you back any more than those X3's either.

Those DDs will hold up fine. People run M4as to 1 9500. Just don't be dumb about it. I can think of 10 people running 7500 to a pair daily and they are very good. I beat on mine for 30 minutes at a time and have NEVER smelt coil.

Everyone around here has gained on the meter after replacing their soundstream equipment with anything.
