Is this setup too much strain on this amp?

Will it be a strain on a Hifonics Txi 6408 4channel amp to run a set of Alpine components(6.5) a pair of Alpine 6x9's, and a 12" Hifonics Hifi sub? Can the four full range speakers be run on the front two channels and the sub run on the back channels bridged? Or should I just run the 6.5 components on the front channels and run the sub bridged on the rear channels? Do I even need to amp the 6x9s? Sorry for the long post. Thanks in advance. Don't want to spend over 150.00 on an amp.

Technically it should do it (assuming the sub is 4 ohms), but I've found in dealing with the more budget amps that if you run them hard at minimum impedance they will eventually give you thermal problems.

You could reduce the stress quite a bit by running the 6x9's with HU power.

Thanks so much for your help. So I will be OK if I run the 6x9's off of the head unit. you guys are awesome. The sub is 12" single voice coil @ 4ohms. I want to use a bandpass box as well. Thanks again.
