i think not lol! do not do this

I think it'd be a step in the right direction...junk the Dual bandpass and go with the R's, don't see how you'd be making a wrong choice //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

ok, well when i go up to erie next time, i will find my friend and see how much of a discount i can get or he can get for me and then ill think about it, get a job and probably go out and buy them. it will be a big improvement over my duals??? cause if its only tiny, then i wont spend 200 on them and keep my duals. i want to find some barely used very nice subs in a garage sale by some really stupid redneck who cant figure them out. that would be sweet. then after i bought them, id basically gouge out his eye and skull **** him to death...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Problem:

Those Type R's are dual 4-ohm voice coils. You can't wire them for 2-ohms each and connect them to a bridged 4-channel Boss amp, and you won't get much power wiring them at 8 ohms each.

lol, with wiring, i have no freakin clue what the hell about ohms or anything. right now i have my duals bridged to channels 3 and 4. i guess they came wired parrallel, so both subs run off like this: the 2 subs are in the box and in the back of the box, there is only 1 set of speaker wire terminals, so 1 positive, 1 negative slot. i have that with 12 gauge wire bridged to channels 3 and 4. so would that be getting the 300-400 watts (lets say 400) which turns into 200 per sub? wtf is the ohms about? someone plz explain all that to me, lol. im a newb, lol //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
