Is this right?

trying to wire up my Jeep..... confused with fuse sizes...

I have 1/0 for the big 3, alt. is 136 amps, so 225 amp fuse? I know 1/0 is good for 350, but max output for the alt @ 160% is under 225.

Also, I'm running 2 amps with a combined RMS of around 1,000w. Is 4gauge power wire fused @ 150 enough (assuming I don't have to worry about fusing @ distro block?) (sub amp is rated 600x 1 @ 12.5V & front stage amp 100x 2 @ 12.5V)

I'd rather not go overkill on my wire & buy 1/0 if it isn't needed, not worried about having any headroom.

I'm hoping a stock 136 amp alt., new duralast batt., & big 3 are all I need for this to maintain my voltage & prevent dimming.

always do your big three in 1/0 its kinda pointless to do it in any less and the fusing for that is more than sufficient, the 4g is also more than enough for the amps, and over kill is never a bad idea when it comes to wiring. bigger wiring will allow current to pass better through the wires and make upgrades simpler in the future
