Is this right?

I have 2 Alpine type R 2 ohm DVC subs. I was just wondering if this wiring is proper for a 2 ohm load to my amp.

Do I need to feed the 2 wires into the drivers or can I feed the 2 wires into the box terminals? I cant think of a way to explain this clearly so I drew up a quick diagram.

Alright I just wanted to make sure as all of the diagrams show just the drivers and no enclosures. I thought that with the terminals in between it might screw something up.

Also, do you think I need a cap for this setup? Alpine Vpower MRP1000 and 2 type Rs. Some people say that setups under 1000watts dont need a cap and some call it crazy not having a cap.
