My power issues

Okay i have a 04 impala with the big 3 done in decent 0ga, a kinetic 1400 under the hood and a crappy liitle 2 ferad stinger cap in the back. Again decent 0ga ran to the trunk and good 0ga grounds aswell. Now im runnin a 12 in Fi Q D2 in a sealed box powered by a sundown saz1500D. Currently becuase of power issues i only have an 80 amp fuse about a foot from the amp so as the amp can take 160 amps and im not popping the 80 im at most half powering the amp.

The problem is when im listening to nu-metal or anything like that with my gain turned way down i get dips to 13V and like i said its not pulling more than 80 amps and this is with it driving. If i throw in some of the wifes music ( like kayne or something like that) i see dips to 12.5 again with the line throttled down. What gives? I mean i could be mistaken but im pretty sure i shouldnt be having this little power. Especially since the line is throttled at 80 amps .... i could see it if i was running it all out.

Any input would be greatly appreciated. I plan on throwing another kinetic in the trunk when i get the new 100.4 and was thinking with just running those 2 amps and 2 kinetic batteries that i should be fine without having to spend 500 bones on a HO alternator but its looking like maybe not.

Could you dumb it down a bit for me ? im kinda noobish to this higher end of car audio and jsut trying to do it right. If im correct im thinking you mean i may be getting a bad reading? If thats what your thinking i have a volt meter on the crappy cap and ive also used 2 different voltometres and all read relatively the same.

If thats not what you were reffering to then please explain further.
