Is this ok?

for real dude that is bad... when i got ready to wire my car i wasent looking forward to drilling a hole and when i actually looked i didnt have to a rubber gomit with a hole thru my fire wall it was easy and u not only are gonna save ure car from possibly engulfing in flames but u dont have that ugly *** wire hanging out, if ure gonna do this do it right set aside a day to do it.... its not that hard...

I dont understand why everyone is saying its a bad idea, maybe the way you have it going into your dash... I ran mine like that but I have the cable going down into the grommet with all the door wires and then into the cabin through there, I have never had a problem with it.

i don't have a hole, and i dont want to drill through something important. but oh well, this friend of mine probably knows how so ill ask him to do it.
in most vehicles there is ALREADY an extra hole. Look for a plastic/rubber plug in a hole. If your car is automatic, look where the clutch pedal would go. Also near the steering column.

yea, when me and my friend installed it we looked for that but it wasnt there. i have a 2001 nissan sentra btw
Id look some more, there is tons of stuff running through the firewall. Check around things already running through the firewall and see if you can fit the wire through there.

But I would not run the wire the way you have it now and expect no problems later.
