right thats what i didnt understand they are dvc 1 ohm and it was reading .5 and when i did my sx 10s they read 1.0 thats y i was confused and thought something was wrong.... now if u had 2 of the same subs that u wanted a 1 ohm load you could use dvc 4 ohm or dvc 1 ohm it seams to me that when u use the lower impedence coils u get a overall lower resistance?????

Yep if that is all paralleled then your are fine. No worries. Your DMM has it's own resistance as well put both leads together and you will see what it is.

ok so i put in the box today it sounds good but amp keeps going into protection...... the shop said i didnt have a good enough electrical to run this amp.....what do u guys think i have 250amp alt xs power d3400 in front and d3100 in the back!!!! please let me no i am very dissapointed and the amp is a re audio xtx 5000.1

I personally think you have it wired to .25. That amp only goes to 1ohm. I am too busy right now to go back and check the thread for this, but what is the configuration for your positive/negative connections...a pic would be great.

ok so on each coil there is one wire from pos to neg then the other pos and neg go to the other pos and neg on the other sub then to the terminal!!! but its weird cause it acted funny when i hooked it up to the sx 10's too!!! maybe a defected amp.....???
