i have an alt that puts out 105 amps and im curentley runing a jbl 600.1 at 2ohms pushing 2 hx2s and a driver 4 channel amp runing at 2ohms on one channel pushing 2 tweets and runing off 2ohms on the second channel for a pair of 5.25 in the doors and the other 2 channels are runing 2 6/9s i only had to change my alt once(after about 8 months)do i need more power my lights dim but not much and if i do where can i get power for less i seen some alts for 250-350$ is there a cheaper way:furious: //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

4 gage for the jbl and 8gage for the driver

maybe you could have your alt. rewound for a lot cheaper than buying a new one.

Hey man where I am from we a thing called a STRIKE CAP it's made especailly for the dimmed lights. Crutchfeild also sales them. I got mines out of a crutchfeild booklet for 169.95 that's the highest one. The lowest one is 79.95. There number is 1-800-955-3000. the model# is 495LS05TB it isn in the fall 2001/ winter 2002 catalog.
