Is this enough amp?

I have two OG kicker cvr's 12's and looking for an amp for them.

There's this in the classifieds that im about to get but dont want the subs to be underdone:

Blaupunkt PA2150 - “Class T” amp using the Tripath Chip. Birth sheet states 2x173 @ 4ohm and 1x480 bridged ....nice and cheap at under a hundred

Then i saw this rainbow:

At $200 its a twice as much as the blaupunkt but dont mind spending more if its a big difference. How is rainbow? No cross over, just gain control so not sure if i can use my headunit's sub pre-out?

If i remember right theyre both 4ohm single VC subs, the rms rating has left me blank....200rms???

Rainbow is easily synonymous with nice, reliable, quality equipment.

Having no personal familiarity with their gear, however, I cannot say with any certainty whether or not that amp of theirs is underrated to any degree.

That Blau amp would likely be a good choice for you but I'll bet there are other options out there that would serve the purpose just as well.

You're looking for either a 2-channel amp that each channel makes 200w @ 4 Ohms or thereabouts or either a monoblock that makes around 400w @ 2 Ohms (which is the nominal final load you'd get by wiring your subs together in parallel)

You'd be looking at just a hair over $100 after shipping and that eBay seller is one I have dealt with personally and know for certain he's legit.

i thought the blau would be perfect also but its max load is at 4 ohms which i cant produce with the two subs, right?

BTW i used to run a jl 500/1 one these with good results.

It seems profile is a bottom end amp, how is the sq? I know theyre subs but i dont want slop.

What would be the next step up in quality?
