but for the c3 memphis 800 rms each 15's your looking at it wont be impressive. you need 1600 - 2000 for a pair of them.

He will not be able to hear much if any difference between 1200 and 1600 watts. To hear an audible difference due to power you need at least 2x the power, and thats if you have good ears.

for the subs he is using it will be a huge difference. put an 800 rms sub that will take 1200 on 600 watts vs even 800 and there is a big difference in output.

i have seen and heard the subs he is getting on all dif sorts of power. you get 3db gain by doubling power which in theory is double to the ear so 600 vs 800 is a 33% increase so in theory 1 db louder i consider that a big difference.
