Is this all i need?

I just bought the following from Bestbuy. I'm wondering if i need anything else to have it installed:

-Through Way Cap

-4 Ga Grounding Kit

-8 Gauge Complete Amp Kit

-1/2 Farad Capacitor

-6x9 Speaker Type S

-6.5" Coaxial Speaker Type S

-V-Power Amplifier Mono

-12" Subwoofer Type E

-12" Subwoofer Type E

-12" Enclosure, Dual Chamber

I want to have everything in one shot so he can get it all done without running back and forth.

Im having all this installed in my 2004 Dodge Neon.

I'm not understanding what you mean by a "Through Way Cap"

Are you planning on running those Type S coaxials (6.5" and 6"x9") off of the head unit? What kinda HU is going to be the center of all this?

umm. i have no idea for all this car stuff. im as dumb as they come. fairly new to all this.

the 'through way cap' (came up on the reciept) is the 'cap quick connect 4 gauge'

What i wanted done basically was to replacea all the factory speakers, and get a new system.

My friend is going to do all the connections and he knows what hes doing. But i dont know if i have everything he needs to get it all done in one shot.

cap = waste of money. Whoever talked you into getting one should be fired.

i work at bestbuy..so the employee discount really came through for this. the cap was only 4 bucks originally 15.

is it still necessary? would it make a difference if i use it/not use it?

Cap = not needed, but if you want it, go ahead.

EDIT: And his box is tuned at 43 hz...

Alright, sure thing. Stick around this place long enough and you'll learn everything easy enough. I knew nary a thing when I first signed up in June, and now I know more than anyone else at my school. Once you get a good understanding of it all, you'll feel great about yourself.

If it only cost you $4 then you may as well keep it. It wouldn't be worth the gas expenditure to go back and get the refund

See THIS thread and have a read. Upgrading your Big 3 will make more of a difference to a taxed charging system than any capacitor ever will.
