and amplifier 2CH 400w

will this sub produce a good sound>?

No idea......not enough info to tell. You need to atleast get us model #'s.

if that JBL is about 4 years old and says 125 watts on a

white sticker with orange letters on the magnet then i

may be running a similiar sub...

i got it at circuit city way back when for buy one get

one for 50 bucks...

ive got it in 1.8^3 @ 32hz im giving it probably 200

watts actually off my viper and its really pretty

nice... hits clean and is kinda punchy... a little muddy

and stuff but i am blasting it beyond its RMS ported...

anyways... i would say if the price is right then

for a starter setup you would be ok to pick it up...

Depends on what you're looking for most likey...for a starter system to get a little bump it's probably okay, wouldn't look to get TOO loud with only 125 watts though.
