I suggest you rethink your goals. If you are buying your system for people around you then you honestly have no business in this hobby. If you actually enjoy the audio for yourself then Whitedragon post is pretty good. You could cut on his prices a little bit and take a power downgrade and then upgrade later on.

Amp look for 1500@1 ohm. MB Quart DSC1500.1 or the Audiopipe 15001d and youll be set.

Youll learn by going with Kenwood that its better to front the money for the quality stuff rather than going with cheap stuff first and having to replace it. In the end it will cost twice as much than if you did things right the first time.

yea man in the end it will just cost you more buying the cheap stuff ask around an see who lives near u to help build a box a custom box will always be better then a pre fab. an that lvl 4 sub u will happier with. an go look in the for sale section u could prolly find a good used amp for that sub as well depending on how much u can spend or wanna spend

I think I will go with the DC Audio Level 4 15" and I found the Audiopipe AP15001D 1500W amp used for $100. Somebody is selling it locally. Then I can find somebody local to make me a box.

There you go. You dont have to go with a DC either. You could go with an IA or any other similar sub from here. There is plenty of info if you search for it.
