its not gonna hurt ur amp to give it a try.

If u do hear any noises or the amp isnt fully powered, grind or find a new ground.

Just test the resistance of the MM leads AND the speaker wire all as one unit... then subtract that number from whatever resistance you get when you measure the ground.

Depending on your wire, you might have some resistivity in there.

why not just find a spot that is under which there is nothing and scrape it and throw a self tapping screw in it
