Is this a good enough ground?

I'm going to get some speaker wire and test this out later, I'll also give it a try and see. I'm more concerned about some sparks in my other thread //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

wont speaker wire introduce some resitance, thus throwing off the reading?
It will be negligable, but still some.
Just test the resistance of the MM leads AND the speaker wire all as one unit... then subtract that number from whatever resistance you get when you measure the ground.

why not just find a spot that is under which there is nothing and scrape it and throw a self tapping screw in it
This guy's new. We don't wanna send him tapping into his gas tank. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif
