I went to my local car audio shop, which is a very good shop and I trust these guys. I went and ask what they had in an amp that would do 150w a side for my speakers (4ohms). He said Kenwood is a good company and they have installed many kenwood amps and very few have came back with problems. Now I ask you what you think about kenwood amps, including this one I posted. Is he telling the truth, or is it just BS. I mean he told me this and then I said that everything was $100 cheaper online, and he still said kenwood was a great company that made great products. Ive heard kenwood is shitty from a COUPLE people, but thats it, but then again no one really asks about them. So are they good company, and is this a good amp to power Crystal SCS6's? Or not.

if it were me i'd probably get the diamond d3 400.4. 180 x 2 bridged. might end up being a bit cheaper than that kenwood on ebay. has a smaller footprint than the kenwood. no fan though. but the kenwood isnt bad i dont think.

DA actually rates it 200 wrms x 2 @4ohms on their website I'm pretty sure.

Will the crystals be safe on that amount of power? I'm not sure I want to run them on that much when they goin into the stock location.

The gains do not have to be set where the amp outputs its maximum continuous output. If you do not feel safe setting it for that amount of output you can easily attenuate it back to where you want it. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif
