I've always mounted my amps on my boxes and never had a problem

A guy at work told me that his uncle used to put razors on the bottom of his box so if someone would try to jack his stuff it'd cut their hands. Good idea, but how would you lift it yourself or not **** up the interior:wow:
You could get sued for that.

ive never mounted an amp to a box , and i dont think i ever will...... specially with the bigger/heavier parts inside these newer amps. chances of bending/breaking / shorting from shaking and vibrations comes a lil faster..... i guess ill say its more amp dependant, but if ya want it to last find a diff spot for it....

just using this pic as an example but you get the idea. Put rubber spacers on your mounting feet. It will also help with airflow underneath.

Agreed. I run a crap legacy bass amp. I don't think it would have made it this long (8+ yrs) if it had been mounted any other way than laying flat so the heat rises up off it.
