The kicker solo classics are surprisingly loud for an 8" imo. I think they're 300rms...

Audiopulse Epic 8" dual 4ohms subwoofers rated @ 600 watts rms. Good luck finding them though.

I was doing 138.4 on 2 dd1508 on a kicker 2500.1 the box was tuned pretty low so i think i could break the 140s no problem with a higher tuned box!

They were taking about 1200 watts each and didn't stink but got pretty warm. I think they are more mechanically limited then thermally.
