Is there a such thing as a manual passive crossover? I know the germ has many settings. I was looking for something like that. one channel in and 3 out (per side) would be great.

Well...atleast it does exist.

I dont really know how you could change capasitance and inducatance on the fly with a twist of the knob with out costing $800 or being really really big. or Both. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

It is probably cheaper to go active and buy more power (to power each indicitual speaker) unless you are talking about really expensive toob power (like $500/watt expensive).

Not tube power, but also have an issue of running out of room. I don't really want 3 amps, just two. If I buy a 6 channel amp that does 100x6@4, (I really don't need all that for mid range and tweeter but perhaps for the midbass) it will cost well over $800. So, if the price is the same and I get less componets to power, it will be better for me.

I looked it up and that is exactly of what I was thinking of. Is that the only one or does anyone else make something similar (to compare, I know they all will be $$)

Not nearly as flexible but I found the CDT 300CC Gold. Not nearly as flexible but 1/8th the price @ woofersect.com.
