well it's not like Drake is a thug. He was a teen star on Degrassi but he has flow and can actually put down vocals.

Dude with all the effects they put on voices anyone can sound good singing. I'm not hating on him by any means because he does make nice melodies but if you actually hear him sing it's nothing to brag about.

that shit was freaky. His kicks were sweet though. And the best verse I've heard Nicki spit was on Roger That. I just love Young Money cause their flows and rhymes stick with me.

Think about why they stick with you. Like honestly, put your bias opinion down and think about it. Their rhymes stick with you because they are simple, they are not complex, they are not hard to spit or understand. Thats what makes Young Money have no respect from me. A real rapper uses complex lyrics, sick word play and good words.

Now be honest with yourself, think about rappers that you have to listen to over and over again because their flows are complex and thoughtful. Those are good rappers. That seperate good rappers from shitty entertainers.

I will be honest and say Young Money are entertainers, they don't just spit raw lyrics. I've never really been into the underground scene, Tech N9ne has some pretty sick, complex, and raw songs though.

I think rap is about delivery, you can have complex lyrics but if you can't deliver it then it has zero impact. I'd rather listen to random rambles that have great delivery than weak flow and impact.
