Is running components with different Xover's safe?

Hey, well the orange coil thingy on my RSD crossover decided to disconnect, so right now the woofer won't give me anything, just tweeter is working. I was wondering if I could hook up a random pioneer crossover to it for a little while while I try to figure out how to fix the RSD xover? Is this doable?

I know different xover's have different crossover points, which is what worries me. It was from another passive component set, so I'm assuming it's similar points though.

Also any suggestions as to how I can stick this **** piece back on? If I push on the piece at the right angle the mid will fade in for a second, but it kept zapping me so I stopped. I thought about soldering, but no way I can fit my iron in there. Is there a way to pull the board out?

well i did it b4 and never had a problem i had my infinitys ran off mb quart crossovers and they were fine for over a year and actually sounded better lol

for most everyday comps out there, probably no big deal.

if you wana get all technical about it, its not ideal.
