Hey ppl. I'm new to this forum and new to car audio itself. I'm planning to make some changes to my car audio and this is what I have planned.

Deck: Clarion DXZ835MP

Rear Speakers: Infinity Kappa 693.5i

Front Speakers: Infinity Kappa 63.5i

Amp: Dunno

Sub: None

Are the speaker quality okay to go with the deck? or vice versa?

I'm still trying my best to learn about amps. Because I'm not planning to have a sub in my car, I want to get a decent amp for the speakers. Should I get 2ch or 4ch? (I dunno what they even mean by channels) and how big of an amp should I get? Any sugguestions will be helpful. Thanks a lot!!!

infinity kappa is pretty good but not THE best. the channels on the amp meen how many outputs or how many speakers i guess you can say. if you want a decent 4 channel the us acoustics 4065 would be nice. very cheap and underrated. clarion not the greatest of decks but still pretty good.

clarion is not good? I was just told that clarion was pretty good compare to like kenwood, sony, pioneer, etc and was compareable to decks like Alpine. Since I'm not too hardcore in car audio I felt like giving this clarion deck a shot. I wanted to get speakers that are in the same class as the deck...so I didn't choose a very high end speakers but instead ones that are pretty good.

thanks for the input. I'll take a look into the amp.!
