u could get it in accounting and joing the fbi threw accounting..my best friends dad did it that way and is now in the fbi swat team

Also, to everyone saying crap to the OP or anyone else who says cops ****- listen and try to understand this. Where the hell do police feel they have the power to arrest you or ticket you for victimless crimes like smokin pot or drinkin underage? f that its my body, quit bein a pussay

been pulled numberous times. ticketed once. harassed once.

not true. one of my friends was a troubled youth; arrests, revoked license, etc... and he had no trouble with a fed background check. he works for the gov in a childrens program.

There are different levels of background checks. I'm in Canada so I am sure it is a little different, but you can get cleared for a basic "Enhanced Reliability" status within a couple of minutes. Something more involved, like Secret level clearance can take months to go through, and involves interviews with friends, relatives, neighbours, etc, and is much more intrusive.

I am sure they saw the charges that he had against him, but they were probably not considered an issue that would directly affect him in his job, so it was ignored.
