Is my alternator enough?

alright so first off im currently running a single powerbass 10" with about 300 watts rms going to it out of a 900w pioneer amp... i want to upgrade my system and have just bought all the stuff to do the big 3 (not installed yet) and was looking at putting 2 10s (thinking the soundqubed hds310s) with a 2000-3000 watt amp to power them. i drive a rather small car (06 miata) and it only has a 100 amp alternator and i was wondering if this would be enough or if i would need to upgrade... the biggest alternator ive found for my car is a 190 amp unit but it is slightly expensive and if i could avoid it id like to

Your alt isn't big enough for more than 1500-2000 rms at most. You'll need the bigger alt to support 3000 rms

the 190 amp is by maniac electric motors though I did just find a 180 amp by quality power. Those are the only 2 direct replacements I've seen worth more than 125 or so amps the quality power alternator runs $120ish more than the maniac with less amperage though...

Mine is a Singer. I can get you a dc power quite. But I know it will be around $600

Don't bother with maniac electric motors OP. I ordered a 190amp "High output" alt from them and I highly doubt it's putting out any more amps than the stock alt I had prior to that one. stick with DC, singer, ohio gen, mechman if you want alternators that actually put out power.
