I seen in another thread somebody said that two kx1200.1 puts out less than one modded 1501 wich would be around 2200. SO they were saying the 1100 mark. Can this be correct? I asked but no answer

from the two competitors I talked last night, they are getting at 14 volts around 3200 + or - the impendence rise in the cab, and at 18 volts 3800-4000 that also depends on the cab setup, R&D here states at 14.4v should be 2700-2800 watts

Hope the KX1200 is good! I just picked one up for my truck to finish it off. That makes 4 amps by Kicker for me.

kicker amps are no less than pretty **** good. even the old impulse lines were pretty solid.

i used to think that way too but once they get it down right whats the diff? im all for american stuff but hey if your competition makes a good product for almost half the cost of yours you either follow or take a chance on being over priced for your customers. people used to dog crossfire for now its considered very good (lol like it wasnt before) . everyone has their own weight on judging amps.

yea i know it shouldn't really matter but when there's so many amps out there these days, it's just an easy excuse for me to choose/recommend something else. don't get me wrong i have friends who have been using kx's forever without any trouble.. in fact i think i may be having issues with my eclipse, but i haven't found anything conclusive yet.. for the most part every single korean made amp i've owned has not failed..go figure

just to add on, the amps are deigned ehre in the US by the same guys that designed the ZR,ZX and DX lineup. All that has changed is the build house...matter of fact, I bet the same place that JL has their amps assembled. I see a huge improvement over the ZR days, more power and technology.
