is it wired right????help

i have a MRP-M350 MONO POWER AMPLIFIER with an RMS continuous power Per channel into 4 ohms(1.0% THD)........200Wx1 or Per channel into 2 ohms(1.0% THD)..........350Wx1 (700 max power) oh yea its an ALPINE. I also have 2 Sony Xplod 10"s with each sub;s impedance being 4 ohms i had circuit city wire these for me and the amp will shut off when there is a real low hit of bass and then u have to restart the truck to turn them back on. The way they have it wired they have 2 negative wires running out of the one negative output and two positive wires running out of the one positive out put. One positive and one neg runs to one sub and the same for the other sub. Is this right? How many ohms are going to the subs??????? Is this overloading my amp and causing it to shut off??????? Also have u ever heard when having a stock head unit with a drop down for RCA jacks and when u turn the head unit off by pressing the button can it blow the speakers????????? help please

I would check the charging system. i.e. alternator, battery.
