is it nessary to line the inside of a ported box with....

i was wondering if it was helpful to a sub to line the whole inside of a ported box with some kind of material....if so what r some good materials to use........thanks

Not unless you're chasing numbers. If so, a lot of people use fiberglass resin and paint it on the inside of their box.
