is it me or is there something wrong

OK I haave been laying out this design in sketch up and Im checking the port length. and i always came up 1/2" short on port lenght with the given dimension. Is it me or is there something wrong with this web tool. draw it up in sketch up and see for you self.

on winISD is called end correction. it has 3 difrent settings that you can use that will effect the length of the port.

but the change will only be minor like you have seen. if your port is runing along the wall. then it will make the port shorter because the air mass will still think is inside the port for a short distance and winisd takes that into consideration automaticaly.
