Budget and doing it wrong are two different things. It isn't hard to wait and save up for what you want rather than purchasing cheap alternatives that you will have to upgrade in the future and calling it a "budget" system. Budget and doing it wrong are two different things. It isn't hard to wait and save up for what you want rather than purchasing cheap alternatives that you will have to upgrade in the future and calling it a "budget" system. I got the amp plus the CVRs and the ProBox all for $100, and I'm selling it all for about $350 to a friend this week. I believe that would technically be a step forward as it allows me to afford higher quality equipment. Also, there's no need for me to upgrade to OFC wiring as CCA is more than enough for what I'll ever need.

Sounds like you're a great friend! Everyone who always says they will never need it end up needing it down the road. Either way it carry's current more efficiently and is always worth it.

I'm not chasing numbers here, and there's no audible difference. I'll admit that this car has been done on a tight budget, but only because I know I'm saving for a new car and there's no point throwing away extra money until it's bought.

You originally posted "most SQ obsessed guys seem like queers who get offended when you insult their overpriced JL equipment?," this statement calls SQ obsessed guys queers and assumes they all use JL equipment. You want people to respect what you saying and comment with supportive comments when you make a statement like that. A better title for this thread would have been JL nuthuggers and a comment for it would have been I hate people who bash equipment they don't even know about, then get mad when you do the same to theirs.
