I'm not really trying to troll. I just told someone that it was foolish to buy JL and that much better could be had for the price and I was jumped on for being a "SPL guy that cares nothing about quality, just being loud"

And yes, my side note was slightly troll-ish. I enjoy SQ as much as everyone else.

True SQ is only to be chased after in comps. If I'm not mistaken true SQ cannot be at levels any higher than originally recorded. Who the hell wants to listen to music at that level?

I'm an SQ guy and I don't nuthug JL. If you've got money to throw away, sure, JL's decent stuff, but for less you can have just as good and sometimes better.

Brands I'd pick over JL without question:

McIntosh

Zapco

Zed

Zuki

Arc Audio

Adire

RE (for old XXX)

PPI (Phantom series amps)

No, it isn't. I'm about to get a new car which will be SQ-oriented when I begin working on it though. I don't want to do anything else to this car that isn't easily transferable to the new car.

Posting this in the dome makes it a troll. You just contradicted yourself in this post to your prior post. Your equipment doesn't look like you enjoy SQ as much as everyone else. It looks like you are a cheapo and proud of it for posting that you use CCA wire, use a shit Hifonics amp and have what I assume to be garage sale speakers.
