Is it just a matter of more batteries?

If you want to run 4kw and have a 250 amp alternator and do not want to have voltage drop I would recommend putting 1 or 2 deep cycle batteries in the back. Large ones, such as Kinetik HC2400s or PowerMaster 3100s. Then you will be fine.

i want to run about 3500 for daily to a single sub. i have a huge deep cycle in the back, big 3 done, and the alt.
What deep cycle?

Dunno how a BTL would handle 3500rms but here's a fewhttp://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=276495

Or go for both of SeanDub's HC's if you have the room...
Meh, I would love for him to get both of my 18s, but they can only handle around 2500 rms together. But if he wants them I'll sell them to him //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/greedy.gif.5a53e6246569d7ab79867170f3b06629.gif

And I would not put 3500 on a BTL daily. There was a thread made the other day showing how 3800 daily ripped and burned the BTL's tinsel leads.

Whoops, I assumed the HC's were about the same as the MT-MX's as far as power handling goes. Seems to be right above the SX's though i guess

the hc's.....i honestly would love the pair but im tryin to go to a loud daily single sub setup. i need somethin with a lil more power handling. i have 2 18"s right now that take about 1500 each but with a 16 cu ft box its kinda irritating with the lack of space...so im tryin to get some back.
